55 percent of Bereran Academy students failed the Arizona’s Instrument to Measure Standards – Science (AIMS) test during the 2018-2019 school year, according to the Arizona Department of Education.

The AIMS test in Arizona is a standards-based test used to measure a student’s proficiency in science, based on the state’s academic standards. The AIMS test is administered three times with students taking the test in the fourth grade, eighth grade, and one more time in high school.
