There were 2,315 Latino students enrolled in Gila County schools in the 2021-22 school year, 23.2% more than the previous year, according to the Arizona Department of Education.

Data showed that Gila County welcomed 7,827 students during the 2021-22 school year. Among them, Latino students made up 29.6% of the student body, making them the second most represented ethnicity in the county.

Among the 25 schools in Gila County, Copper Rim Elementary School recorded the highest enrollment of Latino students in the 2021-22 school year, with a total of 282 Latino students.
