Of the 1,917 students attending Greenlee County schools, 57.1% were Latino. White students constituted the second-largest ethnic group in the county, accounting for 35% of the student body.
In the previous school year, Latino students were also the most common group in Greenlee County, representing 54.9% of the student body.
Duncan Elementary School had the most even distribution of races among the county schools, which had 70.3% white students and 25% Latino students.
