There were 2,165 Hispanic or Latino students enrolled in Gila County schools in the 2022-23 school year, a 6.5% decrease from from the 2,315 Hispanic or Latino students in the previous school year, according to the Arizona Department of Education.

Data showed that Gila County welcomed 7,281 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, Hispanic or Latino students made up 29.7% of the student body making them the second most represented ethnicity in the county.
