Congressman Juan Ciscomani, who represents Arizona’s 6th district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of tweets on October 8, 2025, addressing legislative actions on air traffic controller funding, criticizing fellow lawmakers from Arizona, and congratulating a newly confirmed ambassador.

In his first tweet of the day, Ciscomani highlighted Republican efforts to support air traffic controllers: “.@HouseGOP is keeping America’s skies safe. We delivered the funding our air traffic controllers need by passing the OBBB into law.

Meanwhile, Democrats are forcing those same controllers to work without pay.

The contrast is clear: Republicans lead, Democrats play politics.” (October 8, 2025)

Later that afternoon, Ciscomani criticized Senators Kelly and Gallego for their conduct during a congressional event involving Speaker Johnson. He wrote: “Complete publicity stunt by Senators Kelly and Gallego. Asking questions and then not letting Speaker Johnson speak because they didn’t like the answer.

What an embarrassment to Arizona.

Do your job and vote to end the shutdown.” (October 8, 2025)

That evening, he offered congratulations to Leah Campos on her confirmation as U.S. Ambassador to the Dominican Republic: “Congratulations to my friend Leah Campos on her confirmation as the new U.S. Ambassador to the Dominican Republic. I wish you much success in your new role. Congratulations!

Felicidades a mi amiga Leah Campos por su confirmación como nueva Embajadora de Estados Unidos en la” (October 8, 2025)

Juan Ciscomani began serving in Congress in 2023 after replacing Ann Kirkpatrick as representative for Arizona’s 6th district. In both the 2022 and 2024 general elections, he narrowly defeated Kirsten Engel with slim majorities.
