Congressman Juan Ciscomani, who represents Arizona’s 6th district in the U.S. Congress, addressed topics ranging from global critical minerals supply to Holocaust remembrance and local community honors in a series of posts on April 14, 2026.

In a post published at 16:17 UTC, Ciscomani wrote: “ICYMI: China dominates upwards of 80% of the global market for critical minerals. @uarizona is home to one of only four university-run mining labs in the country, and they lead in this industry.

@SecretaryBurgum is building on proven successes in cutting reliance on foreign”.

Later that day at 18:26 UTC, he observed Yom HaShoah by stating: “This Yom HaShoah is Israel’s Holocaust Remembrance Day.

We must never forget the 6 million Jews & millions of others who were murdered, and vow to never again let such evil return to this earth, standing firm against antisemitism in all its forms. Never forget.”

At 21:05 UTC on the same day, Ciscomani honored a late community figure with his message: “Ed Honea was a true American hero who served our nation, was a successful mayor, and a USPS contractor in Marana for 25+ years. He was a fierce advocate for his community.

No better way to honor my friend Ed than by renaming the Marana Post Office – Mayor Ed Honea Memorial Post”.

Juan Ciscomani has served as Arizona’s representative since replacing Ann Kirkpatrick in Congress beginning in 2023. He won elections against Kirsten Engel both in 2022 and again in 2024.1234 Born in Hermosillo, Mexico in 1982 and now residing in Tucson,5 Ciscomani graduated from the University of Arizona with a BA degree.6
