Congressman Juan Ciscomani, who represents Arizona’s 6th district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of messages on October 1, 2025, addressing government shutdowns, public service, and breast cancer awareness.

In a tweet directed at Senator Ruben Gallego on October 1, 2025, Ciscomani wrote: “. @SenRubenGallego – And you think our troops can miss a pay period? You think our Border patrol agents can? You think our forest rangers can? Voting for others to NOT get paid but WON’T sacrifice with them. Typical behavior of the D.C. ruling class.”

Later that day, Ciscomani commented on the federal government shutdown and reassured constituents about his office’s availability: “The Democrats shut down the federal government, but my offices remain open and ready to serve you and all of AZ06. Contact us today “ (October 1, 2025).

On the same day, he shared a personal story regarding breast cancer awareness: “My mom lost her mother to breast cancer when she was 7 years old. My mom later had her own encounter with this terrible disease and survived. As a husband and father to three daughters, I know the stakes of women’s health are deeply important. This Breast Cancer Awareness Month,” (October 1, 2025).

Ciscomani has served as the representative for Arizona’s 6th district since replacing Ann Kirkpatrick in 2023. He secured his seat by defeating Kirsten Engel in both the 2022 and 2024 general elections.
