Congressman Juan Ciscomani, who represents Arizona’s 6th district in the U.S. Congress, shared updates on local engagement and federal funding issues in a series of social media posts from October 31 to November 1, 2025.
On October 31, Ciscomani highlighted his participation at a community event, stating: “Great to join the 24th Annual Oro Valley State of the Town event and an honor to introduce @OroValleyAZGov’s Mayor Joe Winfield. Proud to work with leaders like Mayor Winfield to secure funding for bridges, grow local opportunities, and strengthen our local communities.”
Later that day, he addressed concerns about food aid funding and legislative gridlock: “.@HouseGOP fully funded SNAP for over 40M Americans with a clean, bipartisan funding bill in September. Since then, Senate Democrats voted 13 times against funding. Tomorrow, nearly 1M Arizonans could lose food aid. Democrats must end the shutdown NOW.”
On November 1, Ciscomani posted a holiday message: “Wishing everyone a safe and Happy Halloween! “
Ciscomani has held his seat since replacing Ann Kirkpatrick in 2023. He secured his position by defeating Kirsten Engel in both the 2022 and 2024 general elections. In the most recent contest, he won with approximately 50% of the vote compared to Engel’s 47.5%. In the previous election cycle, he prevailed by a narrower margin.
