Congressman Juan Ciscomani, who represents Arizona’s 6th district in the U.S. Congress, addressed recent developments regarding military pay and ongoing political disagreements in a series of posts on X (formerly Twitter) between October 15 and 16, 2025.

On October 15, Ciscomani commented on military pay amid a government shutdown, stating, “Thanks to action from @POTUS, our troops got their paychecks today. While Senate Democrats refuse to act and end the shutdown, the President ensured their obstruction wouldn’t hurt military families. It’s time for Senate Democrats to end the partisan theater.”

Later that evening, he expressed support for a commemorative postage stamp honoring an individual named Charlie. In his October 15 post, Ciscomani wrote, “Charlie inspired countless young Americans to get involved, think critically, and engage in our nation’s future. That’s why I am supporting the effort led by @RepBrianMast to create a commemorative postage stamp to honor someone who continues to shape the national conversation.”

On October 16, Ciscomani criticized Senate Democrats over legislative delays related to government funding, posting, “Shameful. The House passed a clean CR, with no strings attached, nearly one month ago. Senate Democrats continue to play politics.”

Juan Ciscomani began representing Arizona’s 6th congressional district in 2023, succeeding Ann Kirkpatrick. He won his seat after defeating Kirsten Engel in both the 2022 and 2024 general elections. In 2022, he secured victory with 50.7% of the vote, and in 2024, he was re-elected with 50% of the vote.
