Congressman Juan Ciscomani, who represents Arizona’s 6th district in the U.S. House of Representatives, recently addressed several issues through his official Twitter account, including a call for public assistance in a missing person case, legislative achievements related to veterans’ benefits, and community engagement efforts.

On February 2, 2026, Ciscomani posted about an ongoing search for Nancy Guthrie: “Laura and I are praying for Nancy Guthrie and for her safe return, and for strength and peace for the entire Guthrie family. If you have any information that could help, please contact law enforcement immediately.”

The following day, February 3, he announced legislative progress in support of veterans: “Today, the House unanimously PASSED my VETS Opportunity Act of 2025 — modernizing the GI Bill, expanding flexible education options, and ensuring student veterans, Guard, and Reserve members are treated fairly. This is the FOURTH veterans bill I’ve led to pass the House in the”.

Later on February 3, Ciscomani expressed appreciation to local officials after a roundtable event: “Thank you to Sheriff Dannels for hosting an informative roundtable in Sierra Vista last week. Business leaders, military partners, elected officials, educators, and community voices came together for a productive discussion on the issues impacting Cochise County. These”.

Juan Ciscomani has served as U.S. Representative since 2023 after replacing Ann Kirkpatrick. He was born in Hermosillo, Mexico in 1982 and currently resides in Tucson. Before his congressional service began with his election victory over Kirsten Engel in both 2022 and 2024—by narrow margins—he graduated from the University of Arizona with a BA in 2005.
