Congressman Juan Ciscomani, who represents Arizona’s 6th district in the U.S. Congress, recently shared updates on international relations, local connections, and tax policy through a series of posts on his social media account.
On February 24, 2026, Ciscomani thanked the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) for their briefing regarding security concerns related to Iran. He stated: “Thank you @AIPAC for the important update on the threats facing the USA and Israel as a result of Iran and its funding of international terror organizations. Supporting the people of Iran and putting pressure on the government is key to regional stability.” (posted February 24, 2026).
Later that same day, he highlighted a personal connection from his academic background. Ciscomani wrote: “Great catching up with a former boss and good friend, Dr. Mike Staten! Now serving as Associate Dean at the University of Arizona and continuing to make an impact. Proud of the work he’s doing.” (posted February 24, 2026).
On February 25, 2026, Ciscomani commented on federal tax policy under former President Trump. He posted: “President Trump cut taxes for hardworking middle-class families — plus overtime workers and seniors on Social Security across AZ06 are benefiting. Lower taxes mean more money in the pockets of folks from Casa Grande to Cochise County. That’s how we grow our economy: let people”.
Ciscomani has represented Arizona’s 6th district since replacing Ann Kirkpatrick in 2023. He won consecutive general elections against Kirsten Engel in both 2022 and 2024 by narrow margins. Born in Hermosillo, Mexico in 1982, Ciscomani currently resides in Tucson and graduated from the University of Arizona in 2005 with a bachelor’s degree.
