Congressman Juan Ciscomani, who represents Arizona’s 6th district in the U.S. Congress, recently addressed several issues affecting both his state and the nation through a series of posts on his official social media account.
On March 23, 2026, Ciscomani highlighted concerns regarding airport security staff: “TSA agents are under strain in Arizona and across the country. Now, more than 800 agents in Phoenix are going without pay at a time when they are still recovering from the last damaging shutdown. My Pay Our Homeland Defenders Act will be on the House floor this week to ensure https://t.co/dkVkPbHDIw”.
In another post dated March 24, 2026, he acknowledged a new federal appointment: “I congratulate Markwayne Mullin on his confirmation to serve as Secretary of Homeland Security. I look forward to advancing our shared priorities on enforcement, ICE, and immigration with clarity and purpose.”
Also on March 24, Ciscomani recognized National Agriculture Day by thanking agricultural workers: “Happy National Agriculture Day! Today, we celebrate the incredible contributions of hardworking Arizonans who rise before the sun and work tirelessly to feed America. Your dedication keeps our local communities strong. Thank you for all that you do, today and every day! https://t.co/qbcoCNJ3Yz”
Juan Ciscomani has served in Congress since 2023 after replacing Ann Kirkpatrick. He was born in Hermosillo, Mexico in 1982 and currently resides in Tucson. He earned a BA from the University of Arizona in 2005. In recent election cycles—2022 and again in 2024—he narrowly defeated Kirsten Engel to retain his seat.
