In a separate message on November 7, 2025, Ciscomani expressed condolences over the death of Stu Carter, an Air Force veteran and community advocate. He stated, “Saddened to learn of the passing of Stu Carter — a proud Air Force veteran, devoted cyclist, and tireless advocate for others. Through VeloVets and his work across Sierra Vista, Stu uplifted countless lives. Laura and I are praying for his wife Anne and all who loved him.”

Juan Ciscomani has served as the representative for Arizona’s 6th district since replacing Ann Kirkpatrick in 2023. He secured his seat by defeating Kirsten Engel in both the 2022 and 2024 general elections.
