Congressman Juan Ciscomani, who represents Arizona’s 6th district in the U.S. Congress, posted several updates on April 29, 2026, highlighting community milestones, legislative achievements for veterans, and efforts to improve rural broadband access.
On April 29, 2026, Ciscomani celebrated a local leader’s centennial birthday by posting: “Wishing a very happy 100th birthday to Rabbi and Cantor Baruch Cohon! A Navy veteran, former TV producer, and a pillar of the Jewish community in AZ06 keeping traditions alive, Rabbi Cohon has lived an extraordinary life of service and faith. Proud to honor his legacy! https://t.co/IcWGaaKuDf”
Later that day, he reported progress on veterans’ issues through bipartisan congressional action. On April 29 he wrote: “APPROVED BY @HouseAppropsGOP: On a bipartisan basis, we secured real wins for America’s most deserving heroes. From increased funding for veterans’ mental health services to key quality-of-life improvements — this is real progress. And we’re just getting started! https://t.co/y0YPVrhpPH”
That evening Ciscomani discussed his meeting with Valley TeleCom from Willcox about expanding broadband in rural areas. In his post dated April 29 he stated: “Great meeting with Valley TeleCom out of Willcox, which provides broadband services to rural AZ. We discussed ways to build on efforts to streamline permitting processes. Just last week, I voted for 3 rural broadband bills to help ensure our neighbors have access to this https://t.co/FzmrRK0lEu”
