Congressman Juan Ciscomani, who represents Arizona’s 6th district in the U.S. Congress, recently used his social media platform to highlight legislative initiatives and mark significant awareness days and holidays.
On April 2, 2026, Ciscomani posted: “.@DeptVetAffairs employees show up every day for our nation’s heroes. They should have the chance to be there for their families too. Proud to co-led the Supporting VA Families Act with @RepBynum to give parents the option for additional leave to care for their newborn children.” The post underscored his support for Department of Veterans Affairs employees and his role in advancing legislation related to family leave.
Later that day, he marked World Autism Awareness Day by stating: “On World Autism Awareness Day, we recognize the individuals living with autism and those close to them who uplift them every day. In Congress, I remain committed to expanding access to resources like ABA therapy that have a meaningful impact on individuals’ quality of life.”
On April 3, 2026, Ciscomani shared a message related to Good Friday: “Today, on Good Friday, we remember Jesus’ sacrifice for our sins and reflect on the redemption it brings to all of us. Laura and I wish everyone in Arizona a blessed and joyful Easter weekend.”
Juan Ciscomani began serving in Congress in 2023 after succeeding Ann Kirkpatrick as representative of Arizona’s 6th district.[1] He won re-election against Kirsten Engel both in 2022 and again in 2024.[2] Born in Hermosillo, Mexico in 1982 and now residing in Tucson,[5] Ciscomani is an alumnus of the University of Arizona.[6]
