Congressman Juan Ciscomani, who represents Arizona’s 6th district in the U.S. Congress, recently highlighted legislative actions and local issues on his official Twitter account.

On March 26, 2026, Ciscomani announced the passage of his bill with a statement: “PASSED. While Democrats play political games, TSA agents are missing paychecks and struggling to make rent. That is unacceptable. My Pay Our Homeland Defenders Act ensures the men and women protecting our homeland get paid.” Later that day, he emphasized bipartisan support for funding the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), writing: “The House has once again passed funding for @DHSgov — and it was bipartisan. My Pay Our Homeland Defenders Act fully funds DHS and ensures these hardworking men and women get their paychecks. The Senate needs to act NOW.”

On March 27, 2026, Ciscomani addressed wildfire response challenges in Arizona: “Another BIG win for Arizona! Wildfires are already devastating our western communities, and unauthorized drones are making it harder for firefighters to respond, acting decisively when every second counts. We must get the answers and this bill delivers!”

Juan Ciscomani has served as a member of Congress since 2023 after replacing Ann Kirkpatrick. He won his seat by defeating Kirsten Engel in both the 2022 and 2024 general elections.
He was born in Hermosillo, Mexico in 1982, moved to Tucson where he currently resides, and graduated from the University of Arizona with a BA in 2005.
