Congressman Juan Ciscomani, who represents Arizona’s 6th district in the U.S. Congress, recently highlighted local community achievements and federal engagement in a series of posts on his Twitter account.
On May 1, 2026, Ciscomani marked a milestone for a major educational institution in Tucson: “Celebrating 50 years of @uarizona’s Flandrau Science Center and Planetarium! This science center is a pillar of education and exploration in our community, inspiring students of all ages in Arizona and beyond. Grateful for their relentless commitment to their mission and https://t.co/EWRWImkVHe”.
Later that day, he attended an event supporting addiction recovery efforts: “Incredible morning at the Teen Challenge ribbon cutting and tour of their new facility with HUD @SecretaryTurner in Tucson, and to honor Rev. Peabody for his impactful, faith-based work supporting families in addiction recovery. Thank you to Teen Challenge for all the work you https://t.co/pFYJQ5mfe0”.
On May 2, Ciscomani expressed appreciation for collaboration with federal housing officials: “I am grateful to @SecretaryTurner for spending the time to hear firsthand from stakeholders across AZ06 and to discuss HUD’s work to expand access to housing and support our communities. Participants spoke about the importance of cutting red tape at every level of government and https://t.co/AhYvvNoera”.
Juan Ciscomani has represented Arizona’s 6th District since 2023 after replacing Ann Kirkpatrick. He was born in Hermosillo, Mexico in 1982, graduated from the University of Arizona in 2005 with a BA degree, and currently resides in Tucson. In recent elections, he defeated Kirsten Engel both in 2022 (winning by less than two percentage points) and again in 2024 by a similar margin.
