Congressman Juan Ciscomani, who represents Arizona’s 6th district in the U.S. Congress, recently highlighted legislative initiatives and funding achievements for his constituency through a series of posts on social media.

On January 20, 2026, Ciscomani announced new legislation to support charter schools in Arizona. He wrote, “Proud to introduce the Equitable Access to School Facilities Act to support Arizona’s charter schools. Our charter students deserve not only a top-tier education, but safe, well-equipped facilities to learn and thrive. This bill expands access to facility funding so more https://t.co/GxVMueVZQz”.

Two days later, on January 22, 2026, he reported securing significant federal funds for local infrastructure and community projects: “SECURED: Over $22 million for communities in #AZ06

This funding means safer communities, stronger infrastructure, & real improvements!

$7 MIL for Buffalo Soldier Trail in Sierra Vista
$7 MIL for bridges in Oro Valley
$2.8 MIL for affordable housing + community center https://t.co/QwPHqRhgl5″
.

Later that day, Ciscomani also noted progress on congressional appropriations: ” All 12 funding bills PASSED! Proud of the work completed to bring accountability, transparency, and fiscal responsibility back. As Arizona’s only appropriator, I was proud to ensure our AZ06 priorities had a seat at the table and bring federal resources home. https://t.co/SRaubruHOW”.

Ciscomani began serving as the representative for Arizona’s 6th district after replacing Ann Kirkpatrick in 2023. He won his most recent elections against Kirsten Engel—first in 2022 with a narrow margin of 50.7% to Engel’s 49.2%, and again in 2024 by a similarly close result of 50% to Engel’s 47.5%.
