Congressman Juan Ciscomani, who represents Arizona’s 6th district in the U.S. House of Representatives, recently highlighted his work with local educational institutions and ongoing advocacy for Arizona’s water rights through a series of social media posts.

On February 12, 2026, Ciscomani posted about meeting with students from Eastern Arizona College: “Loved welcoming the Eastern Arizona College Gila Monsters to the office! Proud of the work they are doing in AZ06 and honored to represent them in Congress. @eacmonsters”.

Later that day, he addressed concerns over proposed cuts to Arizona’s Colorado River water supply. In his post dated February 12, 2026, he stated: “Arizona’s water is non-negotiable. I’m leading a majority of our House delegation to oppose a proposal that would drastically cut Arizona’s Colorado River supply while sparing others. Nearly 6 million Arizonans rely on the Central Arizona Project. Reductions must be shared”.

The following day, Ciscomani noted an initiative involving local students delivering messages to veterans: “Over 750 Valentines from students across AZ-06 were delivered by my office to our veterans this week at the VA, Fisher House, and more. So proud of the incredible young people in our community who took the time to share messages of gratitude and encouragement with those who”.

Juan Ciscomani has represented Arizona’s 6th District since 2023 after succeeding Ann Kirkpatrick. He was elected in both 2022 and 2024 general elections against Kirsten Engel, winning narrowly each time. Born in Hermosillo, Mexico in 1982 and currently residing in Tucson, Ciscomani graduated from the University of Arizona in 2005.
