Congressman Juan Ciscomani, who represents Arizona’s 6th district in the U.S. Congress, recently shared a series of posts highlighting his support for law enforcement, border security, and land conservation efforts in his district.
On April 16, 2026, Ciscomani expressed his backing for federal correctional officers by referencing a significant budget proposal: “Proud to stand up for the hardworking law enforcement men and women who keep our communities and inmates safe within the U.S. Bureau of Prisons. The President’s FY 2027 budget includes a huge $454.7M to boost pay for law enforcement professionals at federal correctional” (April 16, 2026).
Later that day, he addressed border security funding with a statement about congressional action: “Proud to support this progress by voting for the single-largest investment of $165 billion in historic border wall funding! In AZ06, we feel the direct consequences of an unsecured border every day. Glad to see @USBPChiefTCA working to modernize the Tucson Sector.” (April 16, 2026).
On April 17, Ciscomani also highlighted conservation efforts in Arizona’s 6th district after meeting with Yvonne Marshall from the Arizona Land & Water Trust: “Great meeting Yvonne Marshall, Land Program Manager at the Arizona Land & Water Trust, who is on the ground doing important land conservation work across AZ06. From studying grasslands and wildlife in iconic sites like Fort Huachuca to protecting these landscapes for future” (April 17, 2026).
Juan Ciscomani has served as U.S. Representative since replacing Ann Kirkpatrick in 2023 and has represented Arizona’s 6th District since then. Born in Hermosillo, Mexico in 1982 and currently residing in Tucson, Ciscomani earned his BA from the University of Arizona in 2005. He won consecutive elections against Kirsten Engel—first in 2022 with just over half of the vote and again in a close race in 2024.
