Congressman Juan Ciscomani, who represents Arizona’s 6th district in the U.S. Congress, recently highlighted his work both in Washington and within his district through a series of social media posts.
On May 5, 2026, Ciscomani wrote, “Serving Arizona’s Sixth District means going far beyond my work in Washington. Yesterday, alongside @SecVetAffairs, we brought local veterans together for a productive conversation and a tour of the NW @TucsonVA clinic to expand access to critical services for our American”. This post emphasized his engagement with local veterans and efforts to improve healthcare services at the Northwest Tucson VA clinic.
Later that day, he addressed agricultural policy by posting, “The FARM Bill was packed with wins for AZ06! Saves farmers money by removing overreaching emissions mandates on farm equipment. Boosts support for specialty crops. Conservation investments. Lowers rural energy costs. Updates rules for confirming Mexican Gray”. The message detailed specific provisions of the bill that he says benefit farmers and rural communities in his district.
In another post on May 5, Ciscomani discussed housing issues affecting veterans: “Homeownership is central to the American Dream—especially for our veterans. They shouldn’t face delays due to outdated bureaucracy. I co-led the VA Home Loan Affordability Act with @RepVanOrden to modernize the process, cut red tape, and expand access to earned benefits.”
Juan Ciscomani has represented Arizona’s 6th District since replacing Ann Kirkpatrick in 2023 (source). He was born in Hermosillo, Mexico in 1982 and currently resides in Tucson.
