Congressman Juan Ciscomani, who represents Arizona’s 6th district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of updates on December 2, 2025, regarding his activities at the House Committee on Veterans’ Affairs and his engagement with local agricultural leaders.
In a post from December 2, Ciscomani announced his participation in an oversight hearing: “Today, at the @HouseVetAffairs Subcommittee on Economic Opportunity’s oversight hearing with the @DeptVetAffairs and industry leaders, I will question witnesses on the best ways to strengthen our nation’s veteran workforce. Tune in here: https://t.co/EXjlUhprKc”.
Later that day, he provided an update about the focus of his remarks during the hearing: “At today’s @HouseVetAffairs hearing, I told @DeptVetAffairs we must improve the outreach to our veterans on vocational pathways. I also highlighted H.R. 1458, my VETS Opportunity Act, which expands skilled trade training for veterans to help address critical workforce shortages.”
In another post from December 2, Ciscomani shared details about a meeting with agricultural stakeholders: “Great meeting with members of the @NCottonCouncil to discuss supporting Arizona cotton farmers by boosting the use of U.S.-grown cotton. As one of the 5 ‘Cs’ of Arizona, keeping U.S. cotton strong is vital to our state’s economy!”
Juan Ciscomani began serving as a member of Congress for Arizona’s 6th district in 2023 after succeeding Ann Kirkpatrick. He has secured election victories over Kirsten Engel in both 2022 and 2024 general elections.
