Congressman Juan Ciscomani, who represents Arizona’s 6th district in the U.S. Congress, recently posted a series of updates on his official social media account, covering community engagement, local sports enthusiasm, and concerns over national security pay issues.

On March 18, 2026, Ciscomani shared details of a meeting with first responders: “Appreciate meeting with Tucson Fire Department, including Chief Sharon McDonough! These men and women put their lives on the line every day to keep our us safe. Grateful for the conversation and for all they do to serve our community. @TucsonFireDept”.

Later that same day, he commented on NCAA basketball season activities with his family: “March Madness is here! Juan David and I just completed our NCAA brackets. While we have a few upsets, we also disagreed on a couple of games. One area did we agree on: Arizona Wildcats to win it all. Bear Down and Go Cats! “.

On March 20, 2026, Ciscomani addressed ongoing challenges faced by Department of Homeland Security employees amid political disputes in Washington: “DHS employees have now missed a full paycheck. TSA callouts are up 5x. Agents are quitting. Security lines are getting longer across the country. This is what happens when Washington plays politics with our national security. I am proud to be leading the Pay Our Homeland”.

Ciscomani has represented Arizona’s 6th District since replacing Ann Kirkpatrick in 2023 (source). He was born in Hermosillo, Mexico in 1982 and currently resides in Tucson. A graduate of the University of Arizona (2005), Ciscomani won his congressional seat after defeating Kirsten Engel in both the 2022 and 2024 general elections.
