Congressman Juan Ciscomani, who represents Arizona’s 6th district in the U.S. Congress, shared updates and condolences through his social media account on April 10 and 11, 2026.
On April 10, Ciscomani expressed sorrow at the loss of two community members: “Laura and I are deeply saddened to hear of tragic and unexpected passing of Chris and Jacque Sheafe. Chris was a dear friend – a wise and thoughtful man who generously shared his time with the people and causes he believed in. Chris devoted decades to making the American Dream a” (April 10, 2026).
Later that day, Ciscomani highlighted an event with healthcare leaders in Marana, Arizona: “Honored to have @SecKennedy join a roundtable in Marana with healthcare leaders from across AZ06. An invaluable opportunity to collaborate on how we can advance our shared mission of making America healthy again and evaluating our local communities needs national attention.” (April 10, 2026).
On April 11, he participated in Arizona Tech Week activities: “Honored to join the American Center for Optics Manufacturing (AmeriCOM) and the Arizona Technology Council during Arizona Tech Week, as they expand opportunities across Tucson.
I was proud to highlight Community Project Funding I secured for Pima JTED, which has delivered more” (April 11, 2026).
Ciscomani has represented Arizona’s 6th District since replacing Ann Kirkpatrick in 2023. He was born in Hermosillo, Mexico in 1982 and currently resides in Tucson. He graduated from the University of Arizona in 2005 with a BA. In both the 2022 and 2024 general elections, Ciscomani won against Kirsten Engel by narrow margins.
