Congressman Juan Ciscomani, who represents Arizona’s 6th district in the U.S. Congress, recently shared updates on his public engagements and legislative actions through a series of posts on social media.
On November 11, 2025, Ciscomani highlighted his participation in a local Veterans Day event: “Alongside Laura and our kids, I was proud to speak at the 30th Annual Sierra Vista Veterans Day ceremony to honor our veterans. Cochise County, home to AZ’s largest veteran community, came out strong to thank and recognize the many veterans who have protected our freedoms https://t.co/UfORAEoBEU”.
The following day, November 12, he attended an assembly at Salpointe Catholic High School where two students were recognized for their character and achievements. He posted: “During Salpointe’s assembly, the Carlos Valencia ’06 Memorial Award and the John Glinski ’68 Award were given to Tony Jin and Elijah Valencia. I was proud to join and recognize their faith, perseverance, compassion, and strength! Inspirations for our community. https://t.co/yRXCK0yQCV”.
On November 13, Ciscomani addressed ongoing federal government funding issues by stating: “On my way to the House Floor to cast my vote again to fund our government. For 43 days, families, federal workers, and servicemembers have paid the price for Washington’s gridlock. It’s time to end this government shutdown once and for all. https://t.co/dH0vuCiiDB”.
Ciscomani began serving in Congress in 2023 after succeeding Ann Kirkpatrick as representative of Arizona’s 6th district. He secured his seat by defeating Kirsten Engel in both the 2022 and 2024 general elections.
