Dancing Earth and the Natural World: An Evening of Dance and Dialogue
Free and Open to the Public
Join us for a dynamic, engaging and interactive program focusing on the powerful and enduring connections that Indigenous people have with the natural world. The program features acclaimed choreographer and dancer Rulan Tangen, performers from Dancing Earth and scholar-environmental activist Dina Gilio-Whitaker.

Participants can purchase 1/2 price tickets for the "Dancing Earth" performance at ASU Gammage on 1/17 for $10 cash.
BETWEEN UNDERGROUND AND SKYWORLD is a multimedia dance theater work that illuminates the practical, spiritual and cultural aspects of renewable energy, combining intertribal perspectives with Indigenous futurities. Fusing tradition with technology, Indigenous interdisciplinary artists engage creation and constellation stories in tandem with geo-sensitive new media to conjure visions for a more sustainable future.
