Cochise County has released updated information regarding latest updates and responses undertaken to combat rising cases of COVID-19.
Measures include social distancing guidelines, building inspection services, library access and banning non-essential conferences. The county has also updated its COVID-19 website which now includes a page specifically dedicated to detailing local guidelines, response and resources of the county. The page is updated daily and the public is encouraged to share it among friends and family to raise awareness.
Social distancing guidelines have been established in accordance to those set forth by the Centers for Disease Control. The county has suspended public group access to conference rooms and closing down branches of the Cochise County Library districts in Bowie, Elfrida, Portal, Sunizona and Sunsites.
Members of the public who wish to comment in opposition or suggestion of these agenda items can email their comments by 5 p.m. the day before the meeting to Clerk of the Board Kim Lemons.
