David Peelman and Jim Parks are advancing from the Arizona Republican primary election to the general election ballot in the fall.
Peelman and Parks are running for the two Arizona House or Representatives District 7 seats, according to Ballotpedia. They will be running against Democrat nominees Rep. Arlando Teller and Rep. Myron Tsosie.
Peelman has served in the U.S. Army from 1975 to 1979, the Coast Guard from 1979 to 1996 and 2002 to 2006. He's currently a realtor after attending college at Troy State University, Modesto Junior College and Northland Pioneer College to receive his bachelor's degree.
Parks, from Coconino County, is a rancher, whose family has been ranching for generations, according to his candidacy website.
Both Teller and Tsosie have been in office since 2019 and are running for re-election on the Nov. 3 ballot, according to Ballotpedia. Teller previously ran for the District 7 seat during the 2014 election, but came out unsuccessful.
