Chandler officials plan on holding a public meeting on Sept. 15 at 6 p.m. to discuss the development of city parks.
The meeting will be broadcasted live and all residents are invited to participate. The first public meeting, which was held on June 23, was also a Zoom meeting.
City officials will hold the online video conference so they can present the data from the Community Needs Survey. The park will be complete within 10 years of development.
The Parks Department said the plans have been in the developmental stage for months. When the project is complete, it will assist elected leaders and city staff to make the parks are accessible and sustainable for all residents who use the parks.
The teleconference is open to all Chandler residents who are interested in attending. Those who want to attend must pre-register for the Zoom community meeting. Residents can register by visiting planchandlersparks.com and follow the instructions provided on the form.
