Cochise College issued the following announcement on Nov. 12.
Apaches win fifth straight to open season.
The Cochise College men’s basketball team overcame a sluggish start to blast the AZ Sol Post Grad team upstart last night in the Stronghold Gymnasium.
Cochise led 61-36 at halftime and built on that lead in the second half with solid ball movement.
Cochise had six players in double figures and was led by Freshman Tyreese Watson, who poured in 27 points in the win. Freshman Oscar Cluff recorded a double-double with 14 points and ten rebounds in the lopsided victory.
Cochise is now 5-0 on the season.

Cochise hosts the PHH Fire on Friday, Nov. 12, in the Stronghold Gymnasium. Tip-off is slated for 7 p.m.
