This lecture teaches community members what scams are, what to look out for, and how to protect themselves and their loved ones both online and in their daily lives. Fraud, scams identity theft, and vulnerable adult financial abuse are on the rise at an astronomical rate. Most incidents are never reported. It is estimated that 3 in 10 people have fallen victim to some type of scam, and almost 100% of people encounter some type of sam on a monthly, if not weekly, basis. Knowledge is power! Join us to learn ways you can protect yourself and your loved ones.
