City of Globe Public Hearing Notice

This Legal Notice of Public Hearing is requested to be published in the Wednesday, October 5th, 2022 Edition of the Arizona Silver Belt

CITY OF GLOBE

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

OF THE BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT

OCTOBER 24, 2022 @ 6PM

GLOBE CITY HALL

A Public Notice is hereby given that the City of Globe’s Board of Adjustment will hold public hearings to seek public input on the following two (related) requests for variances located in the (TR) Transitional Residential Zoning District:

Case #V-22-01:165 E Halby Ct. (APN 208-05-006):

  1. Reduction of the existing legal non-conforming minimum lot size of 4,596 sf to 4,064 sq ft, where 5,000 sf is required for a one-family dwelling  use.(Zoning codes §14-5-9(C)(3)(a))
Case #V-22-02; 153 E Halby Ct. (APN 208-05-004):

  1. Reduction of the east side yard setback from required 9 feet (combined side setbacks to be 14 feet, 6 feet exists on the west side yard) to 3 feet. (Zoning Codes §14-5-9(C)(5)(b))
  2. Increase of the existing legal non-conforming minimum lot size of 1,528 sf to 2,060 sq ft, where 5,000 sf is required for a one-family dwelling use. (Zoning Codes §14-5-9(C)(3)(a))
  3. Minimum required lot width of 60 feet reduced to 40 feet, where 30 feet is the existing legal non-conforming width. (§14-5-9(C)(2)(a))
The Public Hearing will be held at 6:00 P.M., on October 24th, 2022, at Globe City Hall located at 150 North Pine St, Globe, Arizona 85501.

The Board of Adjustment meeting is open to the public. Copies of the application, General Plan and City Zoning Codes are available in the Development Services Director’s office also located at City Hall at 150 N Pine St, Globe, Arizona 85501.
