Cochise County Offers Curbside Voting on Election Day with Advance Notice

Starting today, October 10, voters may request Curbside Voting Assistance if they want to vote in person on Election Day, November 8, 2022.  The last day to request this service is October 24, 2022, at 5:00pm.  Advance notice must be made prior to use this service.  The last day to register to vote in this election is October 11, 2022, at midnight.

As a reminder, Cochise County vote centers and voting equipment are ADA accessible to accommodate the needs of person with disabilities.  We encourage everyone to vote and are committed to supporting all Cochise County residents in exercising this important right.  

The County provides curbside voting on a pre-printed paper ballot for persons with a disability who wish to vote at a voting center on Election Day from their car.  Arrangements must be made at least 15 days in advance of a scheduled election day and no sooner than 30 days before Election Day. To request this accommodation, please contact the Elections Department at (520) 432-8970 or email elections@cochise.az.gov.  We will need your Full Name, Residence Address, Contact Information and Date of Birth for verification purposes. You must select one of the 17 Vote Centers in Cochise County you wish to use on Election Day at the time of the request.  Requests must be submitted prior to 5:00pm on October 24, 2022 in order to have a ballot waiting at the vote center chosen.  For a list of Vote Centers, visit www.cochise.az.gov/elections

Voters who miss the deadline of October 24 to request curbside voting or need assistance due to a confining illness or disability may request a Special Election Board from the County Recorder’s Office to help you to vote from your home or care facility. Call (520) 432-8358 or email recorder@cochise.az.gov for more information and include your Full Name, Residence Address, Contact Information and Date of Birth for verification purposes.
