How many students were enrolled in Safford Unified District schools in 2022-23 school year?

There were 2,943 students enrolled in Safford Unified District schools in the 2022-23 school year, 0.5% more than the 2,929 in the previous year, according to the Arizona Department of Education.

Out of the total students welcomed in the 2022-23 school year, 51.5% of them were boys, and 48.5% were girls.

Data also showed that most of the students were Latino, representing 54.6% of the Safford Unified District total enrollment.

Safford Unified District roughly covers schools within Graham County and has a main office in Safford.

Among the seven schools in Safford Unified District, Safford High School recorded the highest enrollment of 836 students in the 2022-23 school year.
