There were 38 multiracial students enrolled in Morenci Unified District schools in the 2022-23 school year, 31% more than the previous year, according to the Arizona Department of Education.

Data showed that Morenci Unified District welcomed 1,517 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, multiracial students comprised 2.5% of the student body to be the second least represented ethnicity in the district.

Morenci Unified District roughly covers schools within Greenlee County and has a main office in Morenci.

Among the three schools in Morenci Unified District, Metcalf Elementary School recorded the highest enrollment of multiracial students in the 2022-23 school year, with a total of 21 students.
