In the 2022-23 school year, 74% of Bisbee Unified District students failed their AASA/ACT Language Arts test, according to the Arizona Department of Education.

The 283 students who took the AASA/ACT test were assessed at four proficiency levels in each subject. Those at levels one and two failed the test, while students who reached the third and fourth proficiency levels passed the test.
