COCHISE COLLEGE: College emphasizes campus-wide safety measures to require face coverings

Facemask

Cochise College issued the following announcement on June 29

The safety of Cochise College students, faculty and staff remains a high priority.  We will continue to provide a safe environment at all college campuses and centers.

Public health authorities state that social distancing and face coverings slow the spread of COVID-19. As a COVID-19 response, city mayors around Cochise County have issued mandates to wear face coverings in public. Due to the recent mandates, the college will require face coverings in all indoor public spaces on all campuses and centers beginning Monday, June 29.

Please visit the Fall 2020 webpage for details about the classroom experience for students and more about what preventive measures are in place to help reduce the COVID-19 spread.

Together, our commitment and actions to slow the spread of COVID-19 can help keep our community safe and healthier for everyone.
