Gila County ranked sixth in Arizona for resident earnings in 2019

Gila County ranked sixth among counties in Arizona by annual earnings per resident, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The median income of Gila County residents was $24,681 per year, adjusted for inflation. It had 21,945 households with a population of 53,546.

The county with the highest median resident income in the state was Greenlee County with $31,420 per year after adjusting for inflation – $6,739 more than Gila County. It had 3,132 households with a population of 9,522.

The county with the lowest median resident income in the state was La Paz County with $20,561 per year after adjusting for inflation – $4,120 less than Gila County. It had 9,346 households with a population of 20,793.
