Gila County Gem and Mineral Society
$500 Scholarships Apply By April 30
The Gila County Gem and Mineral Society has great news for the class of 2022 graduating seniors: the club is offering twice as many $500 scholarships to graduating students from San Carlos, Globe, Globe, Superior, Hayden, Kearny, Ray, or Young. Homeschooled students are eligible, too; requirements are fairly simple: to be a ‘class of 2022’ graduating senior this spring, and continuing your studies in any STEM related field. Apply soon, the deadline is April 30 – and two exceptional students will be chosen. Applications are available from guidance counselors at your school, or download the application from gilagem.org (click “about us” and then click “scholarship”).
