In celebration of National Park and Recreation Month, we're highlighting the history of some of our recreational spaces and how they serve our community today in a series of videos. Our last video of the series spotlights Sierra Vista's largest park, Veterans Memorial Park.
We're also hosting the end of Summer Reading Rec & Roll at Veterans Memorial Park this weekend, so it's the perfect chance to check out the park and enjoy some free fun for the whole family! This Rec & Roll takes place Saturday, July 16, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the park and is held in conjunction with our End of Summer Reading Celebration.
