There were 197 students enrolled in Solomon Elementary District schools in the 2022-23 school year, 4.8% more than the 188 in the previous year, according to the Arizona Department of Education.

Out of the total students welcomed in the 2022-23 school year, 57.9% of them were boys, and 42.1% were girls.

Data also showed that most of the students were Latino, representing 56.3% of the Solomon Elementary District total enrollment.

Solomon Elementary District roughly covers schools within Graham County and has a main office in Solomon.

In 2022 Arizona had roughly one teacher for every 19 students, compared to the national average of one teacher for 16 students. Teachers handling a higher number of students was found to have negative consequences for students’ school performance.

WalletHub claimed Arizona’s school system ranked among the worst across U.S. for class size, performance, funding, safety, and instructors’ credentials.
