Enrollment Analysis: Latino students comprised 35.3% of Cochise Elementary District’s student body in 2022-23 school year

There were 30 Latino students enrolled in Cochise Elementary District schools in the 2022-23 school year, 9.1% less than the previous year, according to the Arizona Department of Education.

Data showed that Cochise Elementary District welcomed 85 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, Latino students comprised 35.3% of the student body to be the least represented ethnicity in the district.

Cochise Elementary District roughly covers schools within Cochise County and has a main office in Cochise.

Cochise Elementary School was the only school in the district which enrolled Latino students, welcoming 30 students in the 2022-23 school year.
