Enrollment Analysis: White students comprised 69.8% of Valley Union High School District’s student body in 2022-23 school year

There were 74 white students enrolled in Valley Union High School District schools in the 2022-23 school year, 15.9% less than the previous year, according to the Arizona Department of Education.

Data showed that Valley Union High School District welcomed 106 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, white students comprised 69.8% of the student body to be the most represented ethnicity in the district.

Valley Union High School District roughly covers schools within Cochise County and has a main office in Elfrida.

Valley Union High School was the only school in the district which enrolled white students, welcoming 74 students in the 2022-23 school year.

WalletHub claimed Arizona’s school system ranked among the worst across U.S. for class size, performance, funding, safety, and instructors’ credentials.
