There were 46 African American students enrolled in Graham County schools in the 2023-24 school year, a 6.1% decrease from the 49 African American students in the previous school year, according to the Arizona Department of Education.

Data showed that Graham County welcomed 6,972 students at the time. Among them, African American students made up 0.7% of the student body making them the least represented ethnicity in the county.
