As we know, spending can get crazy around the Holidays and it’s easy to go way over budget on gifts and travel.
If your credit card bill is stressing you out, there’s a way to get a head start on your 2023 financial goals!
The University of Arizona (UA) Cooperative Extension is hosting two free personal finance classes this month.
These online classes, “Where Does Your Money Go,” will be offered at 6 p.m. Mondays, Jan. 9 and Jan. 23 via Zoom.
To register, visit the website extension.arizona.edu/financial-literacy-classes.
During the 90-minute classes, you’ll create a personalized budget you can stick to.
Making a budget isn’t about saying “no” to everything. It’s about planning to spend money in a way that lines up with the priorities you and your family choose.
Another perk of the class is meeting others who have the same financial successes, challenges and goals as you do. You’ll learn from their experiences and have a better plan to take control of your money in 2023.
