The Pima County Health Department is offering free COVID-19 saliva testing at Ellie Towne Flowing Wells Community Center, 1660 W. Ruthrauff Road.

The free tests began on July 29. The testing process requires residents to pre-register. Arizona State University has teamed up with the Arizona Department of Health Services to offer the tests.

The testing site is located at The Flowing Well. The testing site is the second free COVID-19 testing site opened in Pima County.

If residents want a free nasal swab test, they must make an appointment with the testing site. To get the swab test, residents can visit the Kino Event Center, located at 2805 E. Ajo Way.

Tests at the Ellie Towne Center will be offered on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.

For residents to register for a test, they are instructed to go to pima.gov/covid19testing and create an account. After the account is created, residents can make appointments and check on test results.
