Major General Plan Amendment 2021: Kelly Ranches GPA21-02

City of Maricopa issued the following announcement on July 26.

The following proposal qualify as a major amendment to the City of Maricopa’s General Plan Future Land Use Map, as last approved in 2016. Major General Plan Amendments have a minimum of a 60-day Public Review Process.

Proposal for GPA21-02 Kelly Ranches by Norris Design on behalf of Cowley Companies: A request to amend the general plan land use designation for the +/- 100 acre site located at the southeast corner of Maricopa-Casa Grande Hwy and Porter Rd from a mix of Commercial (C), Open Space (OS), and Employment (E) to Medium Density Residential (MDR) to allow for the development of a residential subdivision.
