Notice of Proposed Fee Increase

Pursuant to A.R.S.§ 9-499.15, the City of Bisbee hereby gives notice that the Mayor and Council of the City of Bisbee will be considering an increase of the city sales tax, increasing the tax to 3.5%. The current tax rate is 2.5% with an additional 1.0% that expires on March 1, 2023. The voters approved to continue the additional 1.0% tax on the November 2022 ballot. Comments from the public concerning this proposed tax increase are welcomed. Following the 60-day comment period, the proposed tax increase will be presented to the City Council for Formal Adoption. The adoption of the tax increase will take place during the Regular Meeting of the Mayor and Council of the City of Bisbee on the 21st day of February 2023 after 7:00pm. This meeting will be held at the City of Bisbee Council Chambers located at 915 Tovreaville Road, Bisbee, Arizona.
