Financial literacy education helps individuals gain the knowledge, self-esteem, self-efficacy and self-awareness to take control of their finances, thus improving their lives controlling their financial health.
The programs help with daily stressors like worrying about electric bills, putting food on the table and wondering if they have somewhere to sleep tomorrow night, all of which influences the way individuals interact with their child(ren), their families and their communities.

Week 1: Spending Plan
Week 2: Planning for Emergency Events
Week 3: Costs of Debt
Week 4: Understanding our Credit Score and Credit Reports
The free virtual budgeting and debt reduction workshops will be held Wednesdays at 6 p.m. beginning Feb. 1, presented by the University of Arizona Cooperative Extension.
