The Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ) is set to hold a meeting regarding an amendment to the Aquifer Protection Permit for the South32 Hermosa Project. The event will take place at Patagonia Union High School, located at 200 Naugle Ave, Patagonia, AZ 85624, on August 21st from 6 to 9 p.m.
This gathering aims to be an interactive community meeting where the ADEQ groundwater program team will address questions and consider public concerns. To facilitate access to information, ADEQ plans to post a Permits of Interest page on their website with relevant permit documents. This page is expected to go live during the week of July 29th.
